Thailand for you – Overview Weather of Thailand

The greatest overall time for visiting most of Thailand climate-wise is in between November and February when it is not too wet and not too hot. The south is best visited when the rest of Thailand is miserably hot (March to May), and the north is very best from mid-November to early December or when it starts warming up again in February. If you are spending time in Bangkok, be prepared to roast in April and do some wading in October – most likely most challenging two months, weather-wise, in the capital.

Exploring Phitsanulok And Sukhothai, Thailand

My aim was to spend a few days exploring the lower provinces of the North of Thailand, with Phitsanulok and Sukhothai as the primary destinations, and in specific the Sukhothai Historical Park.

I eventually chose Phitsanulok as the very first spot to see, and also decided to go by vehicle. Even so, from Bangkok, you can also get an air-con bus from the Mor Chit two terminal, or take the train from Hua Lamphong railway station.

Just as a modest side note, I locate the trains in Thailand to be very comfortable and exceptionally good value for income. But I do recommend that you book your ticket beforehand. Other stations in the North of Thailand are at Lampang, and, of course, Chiang Mai.

The Fascination Of Khao Sok, Thailand

 One of then most fascinating locations in Thailand has to be the Khao Sok national park.

Khao Sok is the largest location of virgin forest in Southern Thailand and is the remains of a rainforest which people claim to be older and far more diverse than even the Amazon Basin rainforest.

With Surat Thani situated to the east, Phuket to the south and Ranong to the north, Khao Sok can be simply accessed. And there lies the beauty of Khao Sok, tourists head for Koh Samui, Koh Tao, and Koh Phuket in the south and Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai in the north, and very rarely have the time to explore Khao Sok. It is as a result unspoiled and nonetheless offers outstanding natural beauty.

Thailand Travel – 2010 Monthly Events June Through October

No matter which month you determine to take your vacation, you will have lots of fun stuff to choose from. This area is great for families, couples, and even singles.

The whole month of June is celebrated with the Thailand Tourism Festival, known as TTF. This event is totally free to everyone and is the country’s greatest travel and tourism event. This celebration consists of a huge range of activities to encourage the upholding of Thai culture, traditions and native way of life.

June 12th by way of 14th Hua Hin Annual jazz festival. Music lovers can hear some of the top bands from around the country. June 25th to 27th is the Phi Ta Khon Festival, a fun time about the local Isan belief in ghosts and spirits. Sounds spooky but it’s lots of enjoyable for every person! There are reenactments, costumes, and far more!
